Rock-it Science is a nonprofit organization that sparks, nurtures and develops young people's enthusiasm and ability to learn science successfully. This summer, Rock-It Science is offering project-oriented science camps that are creative, challenging, and fun!

The Santa Clara camps are for children 5-11 and run half-days Mon-Fri, from 9:00-12:00 OR from 1:30-4:30. The sessions begin June 22 and end August 14. Camps are based on four different themes depending on the session: Build It and Keep It (Science projects to take home), Frankenstein's Lab(Mostly chemistry and electricity), Living on a Cloud (Handy things to know when living up in the air) and Sorcerer's Apprentice (Mostly magic).

Camp Keystone, a summer day camp in Agoura Hills, CA, is located on 30 acres with lush green grass and shady trees. S.N.A.K.E. campers (entering grades 1-5) discover the natural world through engaging hands-on activities and exciting field trips related to 3 weekly themes:

Living Off the Land: From the Ohlones to today's modern farmers- Take a journey back in time to learn how the Bay Area's first human inhabitants lived, and then explore modern sustainable farming. Our activities will include visiting an Ohlone site, berry-picking, getting our hands dirty in a garden and working on a farm.

Water Worlds: Exploring the Bay Area's Wet Ecosystems- This week is all about water! Bay water, ocean water, creek water, pond water. It's all here! Get ready to get wet!

Day Trippers: Daily Natural Science Field Trips- Sign up for 1-5 days of fun field trips during this holiday week.

SeaWorld has everything you want in a summer resident camp. We give campers behind-the-scenes, hands-on experiences with amazing animals. But it's not just about animals. Douglas Ranch Camp is an 80+ year old, family owned and operated, traditional residential & day coed camp. Residential camp is for ages 7-14 and Day camp is for 5-14. Each summer the world famous New York Film Academy Film and Acting Camps give hundreds of high school students an unforgettable and transformative experience in Filmmaking, Acting and 3-D Animation. Our high school camps are designed for students with little or no previous filmmaking, acting or animation experience. They are hands-on intensive workshops that teach all aspects of the filmmaking process - writing, shooting, directing, and editing is taught by award winning instructors.

Camp season opens in June and ends in August. 1, 3, 4 or 6-week Sessions. Ages 14-17.

The Math Zoom Summer Camp 2009 will be held at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona California (East Los Angeles area) from July 26 through August 15, 2009. It is a three-week residential and day camp program that offers an opportunity for bright and mathematically gifted students to expand their mathematical horizon, improve problem solving skills, and explore areas in advanced mathematics.

The Academic Curriculum is geared towards preparing students for mathematics contests, such as AMC 8/10/12, AIME, ARML, MATHCOUNTS, USAMO, and IMO. Students gain greater interest in Math, better skills in problem solving and critical thinking, and more confidence in facing academic challenges. With an outstanding performance in one or more of these contests, students will gain considerable recognitions in their college applications. The setup of the programs encourages student participation; helps improve communication and leadership skills. With the guidance of the experienced coaches, students learn how to effectively articulate their thinking processes.

Camp Del Oro is located in the Sierra mountians of northen California. We are a Salvation army camp and our Christian ministry is with underprivildged children ages 7 to 15 years old. In the five day sessions the campers will be able to swim in a lake and pool, boating, crafts, ropes course, archery, hiking, dance, basketball and field games. Our 45 staff come from all over the world to give the campers a safe and fun environment. It is a ten week program ending the middle of August.

Located just north of San Francisco in the beautiful Golden Gate National Recreation Area, we partner with the National Park Service to provide residential environmental science education for students and educators, teen leadership programs, summer day camps for kids, and conference and retreat facilities.

Coastal Camp at Headlands Institute is the place where play and education meet. Campers entering grades 1 - 6 come to Coastal Camp to laugh, play, explore, and discover. Our camp combines marine and coastal ecology themes with fun and educational hands-on activities.
