| Passport to Summer offers activities for fun and learning in a relaxed multicultural atmosphere where cross-cultural learning takes place daily. Most teachers are employed by Washington International School during the academic year. Activities include: French, Spanish, Chinese, English as a Second Language, Sports, Computer, Arts, Judo, Science, and more. Session Information: Camp season begins in June and ends in August. | Since 1983, TIC has offered Washington DC area boys and girls ages 7 to 16 a day camp program that develops mind and body: three hours of technology balanced by three hours of vigorous athletics. With a 4:1 camper/staff ratio, TIC provides truly personal instruction, and kids learn by having fun! Four two-week summer sessions in which a camper designs his/her own project in one of the following: programming, video, animation, robotics, web design, graphics, newspaper, digital music, or digital photography. Sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, frisbee, flag football, gymnastics. |

| Summer Friends Day Camps are known for having an interesting variety of camps; low staff to camper ratios; experienced, caring adults responsible for each program, excellent facilities and a beautiful, wooded campus. We are located on Sandy Spring Friends School's 140-acre campus, near Olney, Wheaton and Silver Spring. We offer five different types of camps: general, art, academic enrichment, activity and sports, such as Artist's Choice; Recycled Art; Drama; Dance Combo; Play with Words; Cooking; Fabric, Paper & Scissors; Basketball; Volleyball; Polon Pride Soccer; Sports Galore; Day Ventures; Fishing; Counselor-in-Training; Critters; Adobe PhotoShop; Rocketry; Robotics Junior; Backyard Science; Geology; General Camps; Museum Trippers; Ancient Egypt and WhoDunit Camp? . . and more. Quote from a parent: Keep the healthy apple snacks! Love that! It is just wonderful that counselors promote cooperation & friendship; there is no bullying or cliques. | Camp Arena Stage is a 4 or 2-week day camp during the months of July and August, on the campus of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School. Campers explore, discover and create in a hands-on environment choosing from a host of introductory and advanced classes in music, dance, visual arts and theater. Enrollment is open to students aged 8 to 15. Registration begins January 1. Scholarships are available. |
