Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Camps
Girls' Camps with Residential & Day Camp Sessions Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland

Resident Camp Conowingo is 600 acres of forest and fields adjacent to the Susquehanna River in Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland. The property is composed of nine parcels acquired by Girl Scouts of Central Maryland between 1955 and 1973, including Bell Manor, a historic Victorian home from the 1860's which is currently being renovated to return it to its original 1867 charm. Activities at Camp Conowingo include Tennis, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Ropes Course, Hiking, Fishing, Nature and Ecology. You do not have to be a Girl Scout to attend.

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland also offers day camp opportunities from mid-June through mid-August of each year.

Since 1983, TIC has offered Washington DC area boys and girls ages 7 to 16 a day camp program that develops mind and body: three hours of technology balanced by three hours of vigorous athletics. With a 4:1 camper/staff ratio, TIC provides truly personal instruction, and kids learn by having fun!

Four two-week summer sessions in which a camper designs his/her own project in one of the following: programming, video, animation, robotics, web design, graphics, newspaper, digital music, or digital photography. Sports include soccer, basketball, volleyball, frisbee, flag football, gymnastics.

A non-denominational Christian camp located on the Chesapeake Bay. Both overnight and day camp programs are offered for ages 4-15. A "Leader in Training" program is available for teens ages 14-18.
